TaylorGP was initially founded to help young up and coming motorcycle racing talent by assisting to source sponsorships and funding opportunities for this incredibly expensive sport - the greatest sport on the planet, just by the by.
Initially, our journey began with a stint for a VIP MotoGP tour operator, it was here in the paddock of MotoGP that some hard truths were learnt and that things are not always as they seem. The first challenge was learning how to secure sponsorships for these young riders, who, with a lack of robust online profiles and no real influencer status that could offer sponsors any sort of decent ROI.
In 2023, we were also selected to participated in the inaugural Women’s Motorcycling World Championship in 2024, however we could not overcome the significant hurdles to secure sponsorship and secure our rider's place on the grid. Whilst this journey was exceptionally difficult and disappointing it provided invaluable insights, culminating in the publications of two books on the subject, Race to Sponsorship Success and Building Sponsorship Success: The Athlete's Guide to Winning Partnerships and Community Connections, which guide athletes on enhancing social media presence in order to attract possible sponsors.
Beyond two wheel racing, Harvey is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, drawing from personal struggles with depression, anxiety and suicidal tendencies, The Good Man Life series was born. This transformative project explores timeless teachings for modern challenges.
On the motorbike front, despite many attempts to get involved with MotoGP, the Universe keeps taking me in different directions, thus I have come to the conclusion that motorbikes are to enjoy and ride and MotoGP is to watch and love, but not for me to work in, yet!
Exciting times lay ahead for TAYLORGP so stay tuned to our social channels to keep up to date with the latest developments.
